sniff. sniff…
Things I have learned from Lucky over the past couple of days…
- Girl dogs are from Mars, boy dogs are from Uranus… seriously, this boy dog is all about sniffing…and humping. Granted, he only humps N, but the poor kid is traumatized. I think it is because N is the only one who is remotely his size, so he has to be alpha over someone.
- Besides the sniffing and humping issue, he is a very sweet dog. He only wants to follow you around and be petted.
- Coming home from a loooong day, and having someone jump and down with excitement just to see and smell you is amazing!
- Not all dogs know how to play. Toys, balls, bones, frisbees- Lucky is completely oblivious to these. Fetching is foreign, catching is not happening. I threw a piece of popcorn for him to catch- which I thought all dogs knew instinctively, and I just smacked the poor baby in the nose with it.
- Stairs are SCARY business if you have never navigated them before.
